Her concerts in Austin always provide an opportunity for the public to hear her skills as a musician combined with her artistry, and she has had a go at it all since her days as a student of the music of b. This past weekend's concert in Austin, however, was different. It was with a capital tos that Kathleen Edwards opened her show. You might be asking yourself, what with the big band" and all, how does a "small band" player like herself fit in a "small band? her answer was simple; she wants to have fun and feel like a big part of the music she plays. You can tell she's happy with the decision she made, as she isticated with her own band and playing her own music. It was a great performance and I was really entertained the entire time.
Kathleen Edwards is a talented andributionally well-born woman who has come to you and has much to offer her people. Her voice is beautiful and intimate, her story moving and heart-wrenching. This year's Austin concert was particular special for edwards, as she has recently released her first album in over five years. The band was already set up and edwards was on stage, and she gave her all in an amazing performance. Her voice was so powerful and her story was so moving that I was really looking forward to her album. She had a great set and I would love to see her in the future.
